Listen

        When I was young I would not listen to my elders very well. When someone said not to do something I did it. So I had gotten into trouble a few times. But I can still remember the time when I did something and that had changed my bad manners. 

        It was 7 pm and I was watching a movie. I was jumping on the couch my eyes fixed on the box of moving pictures. I was so into watching I hadn't noticed my surroundings. The couch was next to the white smooth wall and a few inches above the wooden floor. I was jumping like mad when my mom told me to be careful or I might injure myself. I didn't take her warning seriously. A few minutes later I got a little bit tired but kept on jumping. My mom had to go to the grocery store to buy some food for tomorrow. So she wasn't in the house anymore, which meant I could do even more fun (dangerous) things to do. So I stared jumping around in circles on the couch and did other dangerous things on the couch. My maid told me to stop or I'm going to fall or hit myself. But just like my mom's warning I didn't take it seriously but got a little worried. 

As I kept on jumping I lost my balance and started to fall down. Luckily my maid was there to catch me. She scolded me for not listening to her. But I still wanted to jump on the couch. So I decided that I'll jump but nearer to the wall. by the time I got tired and was about to stop I felt my body slanting and my hard head hit the white smooth wall. All I could feel was the pounding pain in my head and my eyes started to blur. I was crying and my maid came over to see what was happening. Eventually when I stopped crying and the pain almost went away I knew for sure that I would always listen to my elders even though its tempting to do it. 

Social Scientist

If I got the chance to be a social scientist I would be a anthropologist. I want to be a anthropologist because I like to look at people. I like to see their cultures, religion and how their culture works. I like to experience new things, new cultures, new dances, new food and new people (different countries) and more. So that is why I want to be a anthropologist.

Favorite Vacation

My favorite vacation memory is my summer break  thats after 5th grade and before 6th grade. Because I have visited the world's biggest shopping mall (called the Shin Se Gae) (Photo of the mall)  which was located in my home town. But the real reason is because for 4 days my whole family went to Jeju Do island and we went to lots of fun places. We went to the place were you ride carts, we went to the Teddy Bear Museum, a museum with miniatures of other famous places/ buildings and so much more places. I loved the Teddy Bear Museum the best because I saw the world's most expensive teddy bear (Picture with teddy bear with clothes) it was about 2,500,000,000 Won (Korean currency) it was very expensive because the company Louis Vuitton   and the world's most smallest teddy bear it was about 4.5 mm!! It was the best memory of my life!! 

Social Goal

The one social goal I have for this year is not to get grumpy a lot and especially when I don't get what I want. I hope that I will change and be a better me.

Academic Goal

My one academic goal I have for this year is that I want to get at least a B or higher for my studies. I want to be more smart and learn lots of new things at school. I hope that will happen!!!

The Last Books

The last three books I've read are Seekers by Erin Hunter,(Picure of polar bear) Diary of a Wimpy Kid 1 by Jeff Kinney, Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kinney (Photo of Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2) I love Erin Hunter books. I've read almost all of her first big series. (Warriors) So I started on the first book of Seekers. Seekers is about a polar bear, a grizzly bear and a black bear. Diary of a Wimpy Kid 1 is about a boy who's mom gave him a diary and what he writes in it. It is a hilarious book!!! Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 is also a hilarious book. It is about the same boy, Greg, who gets another diary and his brother knows a secret that Greg doesn't want people to know. I am now reading Hero by Perry Moore. (Picture of mask)

My Last Movie

The last movie I watched is the recent movie that came out... Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It is the 2nd last book/movie of the Harry Potter series. I was reading the book just before the movie came out. I highly recommended that you watch the movie. It has a lot mysteries and action.

My name is Ji Na. I live with my mom, dad and my 5 year old sister. I am 11 years old and I am from Korea. I like to read, make jewelry and ride horses.
